I work as a mechanic in the engine department at bus shop. so, I am always dealing with dead batteries. I bought this primarily for home use but, I took it to work to give it the ultimate test. I had a bus that I had cranked the batteries pretty much flat on and I hooked it up to try it out. this thing blew me away. this bus has 3 large 12v batteries and a 6.7 litre diesel engine. it gave me 2 5-6 second cranks on an engine that I had just put in and was just priming up for the first time..i would say the 1000 amps is pretty accurate!
